This meme about sums it up. The world isn’t getting worse. It’s always been cursed. The church was supposed to be a light to the world. They still are to some degree, but even man can corrupt that too. Life is not hard. The ways of the world are. To put it in proper perspective

Everything after that just gets more watered down. Solomon, the wisest man in the Old Testament, wrote the most doom and gloom book that you would think he struggled with depression.
